Wildlife Conservation Society Canada has identified dozens of candidate KBAs in Saskatchewan and is working to collect the data needed to designate them as official KBAs. Saskatchewan’s grasslands continue to disappear due to human development and climate change, so It is essential to identify, map, monitor and conserve them as quickly as possible.
