Your Impact

When you help Earth Rangers Bring Back the Wild, you’re helping to protect the animals you love!

Where your money goes

Money raised will support real conservation efforts to protect the animal you chose and its habitat. It will also support Earth Rangers’ education programs for kids. None of the funds raised will be used for administrative costs. The funds that your raise will play a crucial role in supporting Earth Ranger's Mission to protect wildlife and their habitats. Learn more about each animal project below!

Fundraise for Red Foxes!

Start a fundraiser to help red foxes! These mischievous critters thrive in the dense forests of the Ottawa Valley. Unfortunately, invasive plant species are over-running the valley, making it harder for foxes to find food. Your fundraiser will support conservationists who are working around the clock to remove these invasive plants, restore native species, and protect the valley for generations of red foxes to come.

Megan Quinn, a conservation biology coordinator at the Nature Conservancy of Canada, collaborates with local communities to remove invasive species from the Ottawa Valley.

Fundraise for Sea Turtles!

Start a fundraiser to help sea turtles! These tiny terrapins thrive in the sandy beaches and sunny surf of Nicaragua. Unfortunately, climate change and over-fishing threaten their habitat. Your fundraiser will support the Sea Turtle Education and Protection Program, which engages local children in maintaining a community sea turtle hatchery and protecting turtles' eggs and nests.

The Sea Turtle Education and Protection Program is a grassroots initiative aiding sea turtles and engaging children in conservation in Nicaragua’s Playa Salinas Grandes.

Fundraise for Arctic Foxes!

Start a fundraiser to help arctic foxes! These clever creatures are built for life in one of the coldest places on Earth, but climate change is making it harder for them to find food. Your fundraiser will support research on the snow bunting, a small bird whose populations have dropped drastically in the last 45 years, impacting not only them but also the animals like the arctic fox that use them as a food source.

Emmanuelle Gouin, a Masters student at Université du Québec à Rimouski, works on Ellesmere Island to research how warming temperatures might cause snow buntings to overheat, affecting their ability to feed and care for their chicks and ultimately reducing their populations and availability as a food source for predators like the arctic fox.

Fundraise for Bumblebees!

Start a fundraiser to help bumblebees! These buzzy beauties thrive in fields of flowers. Unfortunately, climate change and human development threaten their migration patterns and the plants they rely on to survive. Your fundraiser will support the conservation of the Bunchgrass Hills, a vast wildlife corridor full of native grasslands and home to a whopping six different types of bumblebees.

Sarah Bayliff is the BC Interior Program Manager at the Nature Conservancy of Canada, where she and her team are leading the restoration of the vast and beautiful Bunchgrass Hills.

Fundraise for Mallards!

Start a fundraiser to help mallards! These colourful ducks use wetlands across North America for breeding and feeding, but unfortunately these critical ecosystems are under threat. Your fundraiser will support a team working in the Prairie Pothole Region to monitor wetlands, using technology like drones and DNA testing to track habitat quality and duck health all without disturbing wildlife.

Cat Goltz, a researcher with Ducks Unlimited Canada, is part of the Wetlands in Working Landscapes project, collaborating with local communities to recommend smart solutions and management strategies that help both farmers and wildlife.

And don’t forget… by protecting these animals you’ll earn awesome rewards, like a podcast shout-out, animal plushie, and even a customized trophy!
